Guided freediving with experienced instruction, on the water that makes Baja famous. We keep it simple: breathing, relaxation, safety, and the marine life of two oceans.
You do not need experience to freedive with us. The day starts on the surface with breathing and relaxation, because a calm diver is a capable diver. From there we work on a clean duck dive and comfortable, repeatable dives with long rests in between. We will help you with your equalization and relaxation in the water, and the depth takes care of itself.
We dive in pairs with experienced guides in the water. One diver is down, one watches from the surface, every time. Groups stay small so every diver has eyes on them for the whole dive. That is the standard serious freediving is built on, and it is not negotiable with us.
Baja is one of the best places in the world to be in the water on one breath. Depending on season and conditions: sea lions, schooling mobula rays, dolphins, turtles, big schools of jacks over the reefs, and whales passing through winter and spring. Conditions here are commonly 60 to 80 feet of visibility offshore. Mornings are calmest, so we start early.
We run freediving on both sides of the cape and pick the coast with the best conditions for your day. That flexibility is the advantage of not being tied to one launch point.
No fishing license is needed for freediving. Do not freedive after scuba diving or on the day you fly, and tell us about any ear, sinus, heart or lung issues when you book. If you want to hunt fish on breath hold, book our guided freedive spearfishing instead and we will set the day up for it.

No. Everyone fishing in Mexican waters needs a Mexican sportfishing license, and each angler buys their own. We help you arrange it before the day so nobody is sorting paperwork on the dock. The same license covers rod and spear.
Yes. Every charter is private: the whole boat is yours, with your group, your target species and your pace.
Three on the 24 foot Punta Lobos panga, up to four on La Ruca and La Morita, and up to six on Don Pancho and El Wahoo King. Whale watching numbers run a little higher because nobody is swinging a rod.
Yes. The catch goes home with you. Filleting at the dock, vacuum sealing and freezing are available, and most guests fly home with a cooler. Marlin are mostly released, with judgment on the day.
Yes, on fishing days. The crew rigs and handles the gear and hands you the rod when something eats. Guided spearfishing needs breath-hold experience and runs on a strict buddy system; breath hold is the only legal way to spearfish in Mexico. Water, ice and snacks are normally aboard.
